Flow Communications

Building on the success of Flow Communications and harnessing the agency’s extensive experience in the tourism industry, the Flow group has officially launched a new company – Flow Travel.

Flow Travel is a travel agency specialising in inbound and outbound group travel. Although only just launched, the new company is already doing bustling business at home in South Africa, and worldwide.

In an era when time is money, Flow Travel offers value for time by putting together full, bespoke itineraries with booked travel, accommodation and experiences guaranteed to blow your mind without blowing your budget.

Flow Travel has already been booked to organise trips to South Africa and Zimbabwe, Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia, and Malta and Sicily. In South Africa, the company has hosted groups on safari, in the Cradle of Humankind, around the Franschhoek and Stellenbosch winelands, on the Garden Route and around the Cape Peninsula.

“We offer inbound tours showcasing the beauty of South Africa and our people, and outbound tours exploring the wonders of the world,” says Tara Turkington, Flow’s CEO.

Flow Travel offers truly tailored adventures, and focuses on comfort, fun and exceptional experiences, often thanks to the connections its sister company, Flow Communications, has through its many travel-industry clients. For example, says Tara, earlier this year a group of American tourists were delighted to find themselves spending two hours with a member of the team of palaeoanthropologists exploring the Rising Star cave system, where a new hominin species, Homo naledi, was discovered in 2015.

“We could organise this because the Cradle of Humankind and its visitor centre at Maropeng have been Flow Communications clients for many years.”

Flow Travel works with a group of highly respected destination-marketing companies, putting together genuinely out-of-the-ordinary experiences for its clients. Also, through group rates, Flow Travel is able to leverage great prices.

“With Flow Travel, you know you’re getting top guides, insured tickets and great experiences,” says Tara. “In this age of the internet, with people used to going with online agencies or booking trips for themselves, Flow Travel guarantees quality experiences with no risk.”

“Go with the FLOW! Never a dull moment and in most of our travels about three-quarters of the way in, I’ve had enough and am ready to go home,” says Flow Travel client Gloria Hale. “Not this trip. Nope. I enjoyed every minute and looked forward to the next day’s adventure. Thank you for making my trip far exceed any expectations.”
